In hydrocyclones, filtration is produced by centrifugal effect, recommended for inorganic suspended solids at the outlet of wells, acting as pre-filters for mesh, ring or sand filtration systems. The centrifugal effect originates when the water enters tangentially and causes the particles to collide against the walls, falling into the accumulator tank located at the bottom of the equipment. The accumulator is cleaned manually, but can be automated. These equipment are manufactured from reinforced polyamide, making it a corrosion-free system. Its separation efficiency is 95% for sand particles between 300 and 100 microns.
