Hydrocyclones are normally used in filtration systems with heavy materials such as sand or in the case of irrigation systems with heavier than water materials in suspension. The centrifugal force of the hydrocyclone creates a spiral sweep that moves solid waste toward the wall of the cone until the gravity attracts them to the collecting chamber.

These filters eliminate particles in suspension due to the centrifugal effect initiated by the water entering the filtering cartridge.

Maximum flow: 480 m3/h – 2.112gpm.

Maximum operating pressure: 8 bar.
